My mom and dad had this home built for their retirement in Colorado Springs. I understand what you are going through trying to pick a place to call home for a while. I grew up in this home. The separate laundry room is on the main level off of the kitchen. My mom didn't want to walk up and down the stairs to do the laundry. Also, the washer and dryer are large capacity front loading. The large 4th bedroom with an adjacent full bath in the fully finished basement. There is carpeted recreation room and fireplace. The basement has a 4-foot tall, 400 square foot crawl space insulated and lined with Tyvek plastic that can handle all kinds of storage. The whole yard is rocked front and back, so you don't have to water or take care of a lawn. In addition, the rock is pet-friendly for its paws. I accept cats and dogs and require a separate refundable pet deposit of $500 per pet and $30 per month per pet rent.
