It’s all over the news about the record breaking weather - and not in a good way. Seems like all the areas around here are under water. There’s a lot of people that can’t even leave their houses because the water levels in the ditch are so high. You picture someone using stilts to access their property, or maybe waders. The thought makes you laugh. Thankfully, you’re not one of those people. You are so happy your lot isn’t in a flood zone. Yea it’s been raining a lot, means you have to cut your grass more than normal, but you can still come and go no problem. You look out your window onto your front lawn. Grass is okay for now. Weatherman on the TV is talking about some more big rain storms moving in. No problem for you. Time to kick back with a drink and watch the storm show from your covered back porch.
