The Room: We have a private room for rent in our spacious 1,300 sq. ft. home in Shelltown (just north of National City)! The room includes a comfortable queen-sized bed (with bedding), a bookshelf, and its own AC/heater for personal climate control. You'll share a clean bathroom with just one other person (me, the live-in landlord). You'll also have full access to shared areas of the house, including: In-unit washer & dryer Fully stocked kitchen Living room with big-screen smart TV Remodeled backyard with patio seating and BBQ One off-street, gated parking spot All utilities and WiFi are included, and yes pets are welcome with a deposit and pet rent! The Location: Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood right next to the Naval base just a 5-minute drive to downtown San Diego. Nearby you'll find grocery stores, taco shops, convenience stores, and public transit all within walking distance. The Roommates: You'll be living with two working professionals: Adiel, late 20s, lives in the master bedroom. He's in the Navy, respectful, quiet, and often away on duty. I'm Jesse, the live-in landlord. I travel often and keep things relaxed and low-key when I'm home. The house is quiet, respectful, and independent ideal for someone clean, mature, and easygoing. The Cost & Lease Terms: $1,100/month month-to-month lease (all utilities + WiFi included) Refundable security deposit = $1,100 After 3 months, you can lock in a lower rate of $975/month by signing a 12-month lease and paying a $975 deposit toward your last month's rent Couples welcome for +$5/day ($150 per month) Pets welcome for $2.50/day ($75 / month) Flexible payment options available for the initial deposit and last-month deposit Tenant screening required through KeyCheck I'll fully reimburse the screening fee upon move-in Pet Policy: Pets are welcome with an additional $250 pet deposit. This deposit is used immediately to clean any messes or address damage if needed and must be refilled immediately if any portion of it is used.
