It includes a bedroom with a closet, bathroom with bath and shower, a laundry area with washer and dryer, living room and newly remodeled kitchen with full refrigerator, stove and dishwasher, and access to our fenced-in backyard. It has its own entrance, and street parking is always available just outside the door. The apartment is furnished with a leather sofa, kitchen table, chairs, end tables and built-in bookcases. We also have a spare queen-sized bed frame available if you do not have your own bed. It is an ideal space for either an independent single person or a couple. The space is completely separate from our living area. We have two kids in middle-school and two dogs, but the house is quiet. All utilities -- electric, gas, water and cable/Internet -- are included in the monthly rent, no extra bills or paperwork to worry about. Our house is within sight of Riccobono's Panola Street cafe, and a 10- or 15-minute walk will get you to the middle of Tulane or Loyola's campus, Oak Street, Maple Street, or the businesses on Calhoun. We're four blocks from the St. Charles Avenue streetcar on South Carrollton. The neighborhood is fairly quiet; we don't hear much noise from outside even on weekends. Our last tenant was a Tulane law student who kept the apartment for two years, and enjoyed the quiet family atmosphere. Electricity, water/sewer, and cable/Internet all included in rent.
