The tenant would have a large section of the house on the second floor and share common spaces. This would be an ideal setting for someone who is a graduate student, faculty at at a local university, or professional. A short term lease (6 months) is fine. You can easily walk to NCSU and downtown Raleigh, as well as the 100+ restaurants, groceries, bakeries, book stores and clubs. The home is a couple of miles to Meredith College, Wake Med, Duke Raleigh and Rex Hospitals, as well as Lenovo and other points of interest. Public transportation - as well as bike lanes - are easily accessible on Hillsborough Street, two blocks away. The tenant will have a sunny, spacious bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed with a four poster frame, nightstands and lamps, a dresser and more. The room has a large closet and wood plantation blinds on the windows. You will also have a second large room - which can be furnished as an office, craft room, or private sitting room. It includes a desk, shelves and a futon/couch. It has a very large walk in closet. You will also have a private, full sized remodeled ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a soaking tub, new cabinets with granite counter tops and sliding shower doors. The tenant will have access the common areas in the house - including a well-equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, screened in porch, fenced back yard with a patio (which includes a table and umbrella for outdoor dining, laundry area and more. There is space for parking 1 vehicle in the shared driveway (street parking is available for other vehicles). Composting bins are available for tenants use. Two basement rooms, accessible from the outside, provide storage for bicycles, gardening equipment and more. About me: I work on environmental issues in downtown Raleigh. Outside of work, I Iike to hike, cook, travel, and spend time with friends & family. I have a number of volunteer and church-related pursuits. I don't smoke or drink (a lot). I would be interested in sharing with someone who has a compatible dog. My dog is very sweet and gets along with most dogs. Non-smoking property. The bedroom is fully furnished with a four poster queen sized bed, night tables, a desk, lamps and a dresser. The other room can be partially furnished - or tenant can bring own items. This is a 6 month lease term with the possibility of extending Renters insurance will be required.
