The neighborhood is quiet, consisting of single family homes. Many of the residents have lived in the neighborhood a long time, with a few newer residents moving in recently. All the homes were built around 1950, and are cinderblock structures. The neighborhood is close to I-95, 441, US1 and West Dixie Highway. The area is serviced by North Miami Police Department, and they respond quickly when needed, which, fortunately, is not often. There is also a Miami Dade Fire Station less than a mile away.
