I am looking to rent out a large room in my 4 bdrm place. The room is about 160 sqft, which is big enough to accommodate a large bed, TV, desk, etc. . . and comes with a large closet as well for all your clothes. The house is very spacious and fully furnished (large flat screen, 6 stool bar set, marble floors, fully equipped kitchen, and living room furniture). Onsite NEW STEAM WASHER AND DRYER. On top of that, you have an ocean view from the living room and ROOF DECK where you can see the waves crash, and are walking distance from 2 of the best surf spots in Newport (56th st. and the river mouth). The house is on the north part of the peninsula (around 66 st.) so you don't have to deal with the heavy crowds that gather in the south part or struggle to find a parking spot; however, you are still a short bike ride away from all the restaurants and bars, so you can party when you want to party and still come back to a quite home! The house is also 1/2 a block away from the Newport River, so you can go kayaking in your back yard I'm ideally looking for a stable, working professionals or students who will take responsibility and respect the house and the other residents, but I will consider other arrangements as long as they align. Basically, I don't care what anyone does as long as it isn't extremely illegal, doesn't disturb anyone in the house or the neighborhood, or destroy the house (420 ok). The roommates in the house work a lot so they are rarely home, giving you a lot of privacy and the house to yourself most of the day! The only requirement is that you keep the house clean and quite after about 10 pm on work nights. This quiet rule does not apply on the weekends, but please be mindful of the other roommates and clean up after yourself.
