This house was constructed on the grounds associated with the Blair-Dunning House, one of the defining properties of the Prospect Hill Historic District. The estate had been gradually converted to residences, and in the 1920s several Sears kit homes, including this residence, were added to the neighborhood. The house was renovated and expanded in 2001. The original flooring and chimney were preserved, while the house was thoroughly insulated and completely replumbed. The house was given an open plan layout with the bedrooms in opposite corners of the house. The house is located at the far end of its lot. In order to create a facsimile of a backyard, a front portion is separated from a more private portion by a retaining wall and shrubbery. For contact via email, use 209SouthFairviewStreet at gmail.
