    3 miles north of Detroit Lakes off county Hwy 59 sits a lovely 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home on just over 1 acre partially wooded lot on a cul-de-sac w/ 5 other homes. We are the second owners and although anticipated staying forever, have been blessed w/ another opportunity and are ready to pass this great place on to you. This home is move-in-ready, we have maintained it and nothing requires repair. As you can see by the pictures, this was a plain spec house when we purchased it in 2013. We’ve added/done quite a bit including: Split rail fence, screened porch, back composite deck, finished downstairs bathroom, added electric fireplace, added upstairs laundry, detached large shed, solid knotty alder doors throughout, new fridge, dishwasher, microwave in 2017, lots and lots of landscaping. Downstairs offers 2 bedrooms, laundry room, ¾ bath, large family room, utility room, storage under the stairs. Upstairs has master bedroom w/ master bath, 2nd bedroom w/ large closet used as my office, kitchen, dining, living, second guest bathroom, upstairs laundry, attached 2-car garage. We just started showing our home last week and the response has been great. We are building a home close by and are flexible w/ regard to closing. Ideally we would be closer to our new homes completion date, but have a back up plan ready for the buyer who just cannot wait. We had the Septic inspected 2 weeks ago (compliant) and am in the process of having the well water tested. This is a kid-friendly, quiet, low traffic area close enough to town to be very convenient; Detroit Lakes bus stops at the corner, and it’s a lovely walk down by the lake (approx. 1.3 miles around the loop). I am actually considering an open house because showing daily has been challenging w/ our work schedule and other obligations. Understandably, some will have concerns over the pandemic and therefore we would only let in a few at a time w/ a tour guide (us). This way we can accommodate many (albeit a few at a time).
