Here to see a ball game or attend a conference? Leave the car and take the trolley (walk 0.6 miles/3 minute ride) or bus (walk 0.2 miles/6 minute ride) to the downtown transit center. From there walk 0.2 miles to Petco Park and 0.5 miles to the Convention Center. Or stay on the trolley for a 14 minute ride to downtown San Diego from where it's a 15 minute walk to Little Italy or Seaport Village along the San Diego harbor. Trolley is 0.7 & bus is 0.2 miles from our house. Driving? With a freeway entrance a couple blocks away it's very easy to quickly explore all of San Diego! Downtown - 5 minutes/2 miles Convention Center - 10 minutes/2.5 miles Balboa Park & SD Zoo - 5 - 10 minutes/2 - 3 miles North Park - 8 minutes/4.4 miles Coronado - 13 minutes/4.7 miles Fully furnished 3 bedroom house. Landlord pays for internet, electricity ($100 cap, we have solar and current billing never exceeds $50), water ($200 cap) and trash. Small dog considered. House cleaning every two weeks included. For short term rentals instead of security deposit can pay $120 per month for damage protection insurance.
