The backyard: A treehouse, a sandbox, and a 5-foot-tall climbing dome for the kids. A new gas grill, fire pit, picnic table, and pair of zero-gravity chairs for the grown-ups. And plenty of towering trees to provide shade during the hot summer days. Because this is a rare downtown TC home with an attached garage, the fenced-in backyard is larger than usual and wide open for game-playing and fun. The location: You're a 5-block walk to the nearest Lake Michigan beach (and the TART Trails), a 9-block walk to the downtown restaurants, bars and shops on Front Street, a 10-minute drive to the wineries on Old Mission, 20-minute drive to the Horse Show grounds, a 20-minute drive to Suttons Bay and the beauty of Leelanau Peninsula, a 22-minute drive to Interlochen Center for the Arts, and a 35-minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You're situated smack dab in the center of one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Lease duration: September 14th through May 31st or June 15th. Pets: We are pet owners ourselves and very pet friendly! Just please make sure your pet doesn't damage the furniture or the floors. Utilities: Renter is responsible for all utilities. (Owner will auto-pay them, and then settle up monthly.) Smoking is not allowed inside the home.
