Pleasant Valley is very well named. It is a most pleasant valley! It is located about 10 t0 15 minutes from Sturgis, and is 17 miles or a half hour from Rapid City. This is a great bedroom community, as it convenient to get to work, wherever your work is located .Forest Service land is just a hike away, and there are no homes located between you and the forest. A forested playground is great for both children and parents. I was raising children while I lived in the house next to this lot and that was one of our primary pleasures. Centennial Trail (111 miles long) starts at Bear Butte Park, and easily accessible from this lot. Our children both hiked and rode bikes on it, and took their dogs with them. You can enjoy the privacy of a rural neighborhood with easy accessability to Exit 37. The on-off ramp is being relocated which will cause temporary problems. Thankfully that is just temporary.
