211 E Longview Ave is a home in a desirable area of Clintonville. The home needs some work (mostly cosmetic), but I am in the process of fixing it up. Recently the following upgrades were made: $4500 to upgrade the electrical panel and remove the knob and tube wiring from the basement and attic, $3200 to have a gas insert installed in the fireplace, $800 for a new water heater, $16,000 for 23 new rosatti windows, and $17,300 for a new structural front porch with a composite floor. The roof (on both the house and 2.5 car detached garage) is in excellent condition as it was replaced in 2009. The furnace and AC were installed around 2002. There are original hardwood floors in the whole house except the kitchen and bathroom. The floors in the upstairs have been refinished. The family room, dining room, stairwell, upstairs hallway, and 2 guest bedrooms were professionally painted. I'm not really expecting to move anytime soon, but if the right offer (See price) was made, I would consider it.
