It’s located close to UGA's campus and has many amenities that offer a great space to work and play — with recently renovated study areas, an updated pool deck, a gym and courts, and plenty of well-kept green space. We've listed the community and in-unit amenities below for you too. I lived at the Lodge for 5 years with my sister and absolutely loved it! It was perfect -- both close to campus and still a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle. I often used the green spaces to relax or study, laying in the hammocks or working at the picnic tables. The pool and courts were a great place to relax or make friends. The office also hosted events — often providing free food or activities. We never had pets, but there is a pet park too. As far as the layout of the unit, the bedrooms are separated enough to provide privacy and are pretty spacious. We both fit a bed, nightstands, and desk in the room without it feeling crowded. The closets provide a good bit of storage too and the mirror sliding doors were perfect. The Lodge has some of the best parking in Athens, with plenty of guest parking (many other complexes don't have free guest parking). We occasionally hosted pre-game parties and such, since we had such a great space for it and were close to campus. Others would even tailgate in the roundabout -- setting up under the gazebo and using the grills. The Lodge has a private shuttle that runs to and from campus on school days, but it is also within walking distance. We often walked to football games or downtown to avoid expensive ubers, but took the bus most days. The walk to the stadium took about 35 minutes and to the library or downtown was about 25 minutes, for reference. The ACC bus also runs nearby and is free to students. We never felt unsafe -- the community is gated with well-lit parking. When we lived there, we had a couple of small families and UGA staff who lived there as well. We got along well with all of our neighbors and never had any issues. I’m happy to answer any questions you have. I worked in the office for a year when I lived there and know a lot about the area.
