One of Fernandina Beach's most photographed homes. Built in 1888 by Captain James Bell. It was later owned by harbor pilot Captain Robert Downes and then made famous around the world in 1988 when the home was featured as, Villa Villekulla, the fictional home of Pippi Longstocking in the movie The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking.
