We hear a lot about people and their tradeoffs; a house might have great character but no storage, or a perfect layout but no yard. That's why this house is real treat. Yes, it has an open floor plan, and yes it also has views overlooking Mt. Timpanogas and Utah Lake, but it's also on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a fully landscaped yard, and the (fully finished) interior is drop dead gorgeous. We're having a hard time finding any downside. The main level of this rambler is equal parts clean, bright, and practical. Hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and walls dotted with windows in the granite clad kitchen make dinner prep work and life after work comfortable and cozy. We're obsessed with the deck that leads off the family room - I mean, if you've got these kind of views, why not make a deck that spans the whole width of the house? The master retreat is tucked on the back of the home and brings breakfast in bed to a whole new level as you watch the sun rise over 'Timp. Our favorite feature of this home has to be the wide open lower level. We know reclaimed barn wood is always going to be show stopper, but we think the roomy and inviting space is a equally fit for a highball with friends, or playing ball with the kids. The bright, airy gym is a unexpected find and can easily be converted to another bedroom or office should you need it. Might be wise to jump on this one quick, homes like this are available once in a rare while. Come take a peek; there's no downside to looking.
