Each bedroom has one work desk. There is free WiFi access inside and out. Each bedroom has its own heating/cooling system. The living room features a smart TV, BluRay player, a breakfast table and a sofa that can easily changed into an additional guest bed. There is a full kitchen with a gas burning stove, micro, toaster oven, fridge, all tableware, pots and pans provided. So are towels, bathrobes, hair dryer. The apartment is tastefully furnished, arts and crafts abound. For long term tenants the furniture can be changed (for example: to eliminate one of the Queen size beds in order to change one bedroom into a work room. Down the hill in walking distance is the restaurant row of Franklin Blvd. And a supermarket. A folder in the apartment lists all the places and addresses one needs for shopping, dining, hiking, biking, for the movies and clubbing. We, the owners, are a journalist and a language teacher. We live - separated from the apartment - in the main part of the house. We have been renting for close to 5 years through AirBnB and VRBO getting 5 star ratings as hosts. But now we want to make live easier and are looking for decent, reliable long term renters. After years of successful short term renting, we decided to simplify live by leasing our property long term. Minimum 1 month. The rent is $ 2,750 p/m. Plus $ 125 utility flat fee (water, electric, gas). But that cannot be guaranteed. In rare cases tenant has to park in one of the side streets. Many previous tenants used Uber of Lyft for their daily commute or for their errands. Since Hollywood is a preferred area, cars are usually available within minutes.
