Update!! Porch has been repainted and sunroom has been painted , just had crushed rock put down to extend driveway. We have a beautiful two-story 1408 sqft home built in 1931 in Van Buren Maine. it is a very small town and very friendly people. Home is on main street and can walk all over town. Our home has 3bed 1.5bath , half bathroom is in large laundry room , new bathroom sink and cabinet new drywall on ceiling and drywall by the sink in laundry room , new toilets upstairs and down , updated plumbing and electrical throughout house , new water heater , new heat pump upstairs , one year old pellet stove downstairs , metal roof put on in 2018 , all windows have storm windows except sunroom upstairs. New vinyl flooring on first floor and pretty clean carpet in all bedrooms upstairs , new laminate flooring in sunroom with new drapes new paint throughout interior of home. Our house has beautiful lawn and beautiful plants coming in to bloom. Paint on home and porch needs fresh coat but it's not horrible . House has 3 porches one off front door and one out of side door and one right above that one, and plus an enclosed sunroom . Walking in the side door to kitchen is pretty good size , cabinets are old but functional, original tin ceilings in kitchen and old style farm sink . Also you can access the basement in kitchen and basement has been washed and professionally cleaned and I ran new lights throughout basement ,new circuit breaker box with room for more .after leaving kitchen there is an area that can be seating or whatever you want it to be . the pellet stove is in the corner and plenty of room for a sofa or chairs to enjoy the fire . Off of the front door is a large porch . The living room looks right into the room with the fireplace and in the living room you can fit sofa and loveseat and large flat screen. It also has original tin ceilings . Going upstairs you run into full bathroom it is original but in good condition , it has a linen closet and attic access . Going into master bedroom it fits king size bed and has plenty of room for dressers , closets are decent in all bedrooms. The other bedrooms are great sizes and both bedrooms share the sunroom and have their own access . Bedroom have great natural lighting. All windows have nice blinds and all bedrooms are black out shades . The sunroom looks right into Canada , and you are only 5min from the Canadian border. Upstairs has a brand new heat pump and keeps the upstairs very warm in winter and it keeps you very cool during warmer days. The house needs a tiny bit of tlc but the bones are really good , the doors are all original and have that colonial feel . We have really enjoyed this home and did a lot of updates to it .
