There is a community pool and tennis courts, and a clubhouse for rentals for parties, etc. as well as a guest quarters that you can rent very reasonably for out-of-town guests that don't wish to stay with you in your home, or for overflow. The pool is hardly ever crowded, and many times it's like having your own pool right down the street. It's a great neighborhood to walk in, and the neighbors are friendly, with an active Homeowner's Association. The elementary and middle schools are a very short drive away. There are also several very good private schools within a convenient drive.
