Baileyville log cabin on 28.2 acres, with the possibility of adding more land if anyone was interested. This 16 x 46 Amish built log cabin has a nice front porch to relax after a day of enjoying the Maine woods! Close to town, yet private with easy access to lakes and 4 wheeler/snowmobile trails. The cabin is well started, good quality construction and materials used, wired for a generator and it has been plumbed. Power and public water are available at the road they just have not been connected yet. The property did pass a perk test but it was done back in 2018, there is a grey water tank in place at this time. The cabin is unfinished and sells as such, but it does include what the seller believes would be all the materials to finish it. From the porch you enter a large open living room/kitchen with a nice pellet stove, the full bathroom is set up with a laundry area and there are 2 nice sized bedrooms. The cabin is close to many area lakes, Pocamoonshine, Meddybemps, Long, Lewy and Big lake to name just a few, it's a nice "4 wheeler" ride to Grand Lake stream and many other locations that make this the perfect get away for anyone who enjoys the area's great fishing and recreational trails. Baileyville was originally settled by the Quakers in 1780, the name comes from Ezekiel Bailey who in 1830 began the commercial manufacturing of oilskin. The area mill now is the St Croix tissue and Woodland Pulp
