Honesty is the best policy! This is definitely a handyman special and the price reflects needed work. Make an offer!On the plus side:1. The bedrooms are decent size with large closets2. The laundry area is in the kitchen (handy)3. The dishwasher is newer4. The shed is large and convenient5. The vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom is fine6. The floor is solid, no soft spots noted7. Front den with sliding glass door to outside and French doors with a locking doorknob on the living room side.On the minus side:1. The front door is on the wrong side of the house.2. The ceramic tile patio on the concrete pad and surrounding brickwork need repair3. The carpet is severely faded and stretched throughout the house4. The master bedroom has a spot (one foot by 1.5 feet approx.) on the ceiling (possible roof leak?)5. The kitchen cabinets and drawers have what looks like duct tape on all the edges6. The first thing that is noticeable when walking in the kitchen door is that the stove and fridge need to be replaced7. The sinks in both bathrooms are original plastic which have become discolored over the years.8. Most of the mini-blinds need to be replaced9. Generally, the interior is not clean.10. The A/C unit is original, may work okay, but needs to have a protective "shield" connecting to the exterior of the houseAnyone buying this house would probably feel it necessary to:1. Cut an exterior door into the living room or the den from the carport2. Replace carpeting3. Replace kitchen cabinets, at least the doors4. Replace the stove and fridge, as well as add a washer and dryer (note: there is a company nearby which we have used several times to supply good used appliances, for a very fair price)5.
