This solar powered guest house (1020sqft) is located on a shared 2.5 acre lot with pinon and juniper trees. The guest house is a very nice distance from our main house so you feel as if you have your own private lot. Only a 10 minute drive to the Santa Fe Plaza and other amenities. Easy access to 599 for commuters going north of Santa Fe. Extremely quiet with lots space. Adobe structure with high ceilings and beautiful beam and wood work. Stacked washer and dryer, shared well water, stainless steel propane gas stove as well as a beautiful wood burning stove. There is one bedroom, but there is an upstairs loft off the main bedroom that would be great for 1-2 children. The guest house is also tied into our 10.2 kilowatt solar system that sits on the property. The house is south facing so it has large windows that let in beautiful light. The flooring in the house is all Saltillo tile and it is very easy to clean. Water and part of the electrical bill is included in the rental cost. The house also comes with a fridge/freezer as well as a dishwasher. The house is on a well so that is included in the rent.; Electricity bills will be split due to square footage of homes on the property, the guest house is a 1/3 of the total square footage of the entire property. The house is connected to our solar system, so normally our bills are only around $8/mo. However, during the winter months due to how much electrical heat is used bills range between $8-$350 (for the entire property). Renter would be responsible for 1/3 of the electrical bill. There is propane gas that is only for the gas stove and dryer. You will be responsible for your amount of % usage at the end of your lease. The propane % will be recorded on the day of move in and then checked at the end of the lease. The owner will cover the yearly rental cost of the propane tank. This is a non-smoking residence, and there is parking next to the guest house for 2 vehicles. The house is 1 bedroom with an upstairs loft and it comfortably fits 2 people. We have quiet hours from 10pm-6am because we live next door and we want to preserve the quiet neighborhood. Security deposit of $2400 will be collected at the signing of the lease to cover any damages, repairs, or replace any damaged furnishings within the home. The owner will take care of the maintenance of the property and irrigation systems. These lease terms are just a few of the terms, however, there will be a formal lease agreement that will be signed by the tenant and landlord.
