Eagle Lake is just north of Vicksburg off of Hwy 465. The lake has some of the best fishing in the state of Mississippi. You can also enjoy a variety of water sports, bird watching, sight seeing.and relaxation. Eagle Lake has a country store. 'Yore Country Store' stocks everything from fresh meats and produce to fish bait and pvc pipe. 'Wings of Fire Restaurant' is just next door, open 6 days a week (lunch and dinner) they offer great family dining. Eagle Lake Baptist Church and Eagle Lake Methodist Church both offer Sunday worship services. And of course there are a couple of 'beverage hot spots'. However, if you feel the need to leave the lake, historic Vicksburg is just a short peaceful ride away. Where you will find, antique shops, casinos, boat tours, outlet shopping, civil war and home tours, lets not forget the farmers market that starts the first weekend in June and runs through August
