If you walk east in 5 blocks or so you have reached the Financial district. In our opinion however the greatest advantage to the location is that you are 2 blocks from the Greenwich Steps. Climb up the steps through lush almost tropical gardens (home to the wild SF parrots) and expansive views of the Bay below Coit Tower and then drop down into North Beach for a great cup of joe Italian meal. or drink at Vesuvio's. This is also a wonderful place to bike or run from. The garage has secure bike racks. It's an easy ride along the Embarcadero over to the Marina through the Presidio and over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito for lunch and if you feel a little tired or just want to be out on the Bay take the Sausalito ferry back to the San Francisco Ferry Building. From there it's just a few minutes back to the Parc Telegraph by bike. It doesn't get any better! We won't even mention how close PacBell Park is.
