Pendora's Retreat is located just across the street from Pendora Park. It is just one block away from the bus stop. I am looking to rent two of my bedrooms out to female International College Students--who would like a Home Stay. (This is my private residence at present, a female lives in the house.) Colleges that are nearby are: Alvernia (15 minutes to the downtown location in bus, 10 minutes in car) Albright (8 minutes in car), Penn State Berks (15 min. in car) and Drexel Medical School (15 minutes in car.) Kutztown (30 min. in personal car) My residence is spacious with a living room and a cozy family room--perfect for long study hours. As a guest you will have full access to the kitchen for preparing meals, access to the washer and dryer in the basement and access to all shared living spaces. There is one bathroom/shower for all residents to use. The house is located on a hill. In the event that you have your own car, street parking is available in front of the house. FOR FEMALES ONLY The listed price includes all expenses (water, electric, trash, heat, ac) and also basic shared food items. Boarders are expected to keep their rooms clean and keep all common areas free of personal items and clutter. They are expected to clean up after themselves when using the kitchen, bathroom, living room and other areas of the house. Respectful interactions with other house occupants and to the property itself are must. After meeting in person, and at the time of approval to board in the residence a lease will be presented for the duration of the school year. This house is a candle free, smoke, vape, alcohol, drug free and party free house. (It is a place where serious FEMALE students will feel most at home.) The owner does reserve the right to terminate housing during the semester/year if these rules are violated. Hopefully, this will be a place that you can call "home" away from home. The owner does want to support/help International students to adjust and adapt to life here in the states.
