Our 1923 historic cottage has been a labor of love for us for over 30 years. As a furniture maker/artist and teacher, my wife and I have made this a home we dream about coming home to and we hope you will as well. We are offering our house fully furnished as per the images. Walking up the rose lined brick pathway you enter under a porch typical of the California bungalow style. Entering into the house the first thing you see is the tiled fireplace. To the left and right are the dining room and living room respectively. Much of the furniture is either antiques or hand made furniture by the owner. Walking through the dining room you enter the kitchen which has seen its share of wonderful meals cooked and shared. Through the kitchen is the laundry area with new stacked LG washer and Dryer. Walking through the living room you enter the rich and cozy den, painted dark green with gold trim and filled with art, many painted by the owner. Through the small hall area you reach the office with it's handpainted glass door. The office is full of light and is a great work space. Also through the hall you will find the primary bedroom with its vaulted ceiling and the large primary bathroom with 2 sinks and a walk-in closet. Up the oak staircase you will find bedrooms, # 2 and #3, which both have vaulted ceilings, dormers with casement windows and closets. Downstairs, out the side door, you walk into the bricked side yard area, with a Traeger Smoker/BBQ, 2 dining areas and a beautiful sitting area set up around a wood burning fire pit. Under the rose covered arch is a four-square garden area and patio in front of the art studio which has a drafting table, record player and leather club chair. On the other side of the studio set under a 400 year old oak tree is a tiled pool and jacuzzi set in a brick pool deck. There is also a cast iron fireplace you can warm yourself after a dip. There is room in the driveway for 2 cars, more parking on street. There is an absolute no smoking policy. One med size dog is allowed with approval but there will be an additional pet deposit fee. Lease includes the utilities and services listed below: Housekeeper Every 2 weeks Gardening Service: Every Wednesday Pool Service: Every Tuesday So Cal Gas Department: (up to $150 per month) DWP: includes trash, electrical & water ( up to $400 per month ) Spectrum Cable / Internet: ( Up to $265 per month)
