    What's special

SOLD BY DIANA MELERUD SUPERIOR REALTY 9177487780. The Owners call this unit "The Oasis." It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, ideally situated between two large grocery stores. It is only a short walk to the Salt Marsh Nature Center and the award-winning, recently upgraded Marine Park. (The park was originally meant to be an Olympic stadium, but only the track was built before WWII stopped it from being completed.) Within a half-hour walk, you can see a first-run movie, have a nice meal, enjoy a day playing sports, go to the ocean, or work out at the gym. The Boardwalk at Coney Island is within an hour's walk. Of course, if you drive a car, it is still more convenient than other locations, as there are no alternate side parking rules on this block. The B31 bus to the B/Q subway station, or the BM4 express bus to Manhattan stop just around the corner and across the street. One of the main attractions in "The Oasis" is the kitchen. Unlike many other properties in the area, it is not a narrow galley kitchen. This freshly-painted kitchen is spacious enough for a table that seats four people. The large pantry in one corner and lazy Susan cabinets in another are added touches that make the unit special. The kitchen has plenty of cupboards, a dishwasher, a garbage disposal, a gas stove, and a large refrigerator with an extra chiller drawer and an extra-large freezer with two drawers in it. The master bedroom has extra closet space as well, with top shelves for additional storage. Even with the extra closets, it is large enough for a king size bed, a dresser, and an armoire, but if extra floor space is needed, the extra closet can be removed. We are willing to leave the furniture, which includes a large sectional sofa, and a butterfly-leaf pub table (the extra leaf is hidden inside the table) which can be expanded to seat eight people. (Currently we have chairs for six people.) There is a coffee table, a console (stand) for the television, end tables, and bookshelves that complete the living room. There is hallway table/wine rack in the entryway, which boasts a chandelier that was here when we purchased it. It and the other entryway lights both have dimmer switches. It's is a gem that has been infused with love and the belief the next resident will enjoy it as much as they have. Thanks for everything!
