Adorable home within walking distance to the ever so lovely Lakeside and James Park. Located in one of the last "true" neighborhoods in Marblehead. A stones throw to St. Joseph's Church, walking distance to the library and restaurant/ice cream shop/hard ward store. It was simply perfect for my children and myself with all the amenities. This home has only one bathroom but it is a very good size with washer and dryer in it. The walk in closet is huge and has a direct entry to the bathroom without having to walk thru the living area. Forced air heat with additional electric heating in family room if so desired. Upstairs has venting for heat but also has small ceramic heaters in the bedrooms for added warmth. Central air throughout but upstairs still ran a bit warm so window units were used in extreme heat. New Windows were installed in 2015 along with new cream carpet and padding. The basement listed as square footage of 200 is actually a cellar that houses the heating system as well as the hot water heater. We used it in times of tornado warnings and felt very safe. This home sits on a double lot+ meaning we also purchased a strip of land from the railroad when the it was offered. Garage, though attached has access only from the outside. New Garage door and opener were installed in 2014 as well. Currently home is being rented and we would need at least 24 hours advance notice to show.
