All we are hoping to get out this house is a down payment on a new home, which is why it is so cheap. House is almost completely surrounded by empty lots. There is only one adjoining house and I think it is slated to be demolished relatively soon. It's not an eyesore though, just an empty house. The yard has a mulberry tree (with another in adjoining lot) blackberry bushes, room for a great garden, a stone firepit, stone terracing that needs some repair, wildlife, tons of trees and load of potential. House is in walking distance to Harding Elementary and it's playground which is open to public. Also in walking distance to the new Rayen stadium. As far as I know, the house needs a new roof, removal of 2 story 8x10 addition (estimate), bathroom drywall and remodel, bathtub plumbing work (minimally functional now), new toilet, some ceiling repair in kitchen, chimney swept, basement cleaned-bleached and painted. Basement does leak in rain and it DOES have mold. Basement stairs need repair and basement stairway needs drywall. Remember though, the house is CHEAP.
