The sound can be accessed down 23rd street which is about 150 yards away! It's the narrow part of the island, so you get both sound and ocean view and access. There is a mini-mart 1 mile away for last minute essentials that can be walked/biked either by road or the beach! Great restaurants abound on the Crystal Coast
