My wife and I are moving out of the area do to our jobs. We need to find someone to take over our lease. Our apartment is also ideal for roomates because it is 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, and close to the multiple metros. We live in the Encore Apartments in Alexandria. We have already spoken to management and they told us whoever takes over the lease will get the apartment at the discounted rate we pay. The complex will let the new tenants sign a 1 year lease starting on July 1st for $1799 per month. There is no deposit needed to move in. We have not paid more then $60 in any given month for our electric bill (central heating and air, electric stove, etc). There is an amazing swimming pool at the complex that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. There are a full size washer and dryer in the apartment. 2 large bedrooms, both with lots of closet space. There are 2 bathrooms, one on the master bedroom, one guest bathroom. All stainless steel appliances. The Encore has a free shuttle that runs Mon-Fri from the apartments to Pentagon City for metro access. It runs every 30 minutes during both rush hours. It is free of charge. Close to Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, Giant, and Safeway. Old Town is 3 miles away. Pets are also allowed.
