Wonderful apartment in the heart of NW Portland 3 1/2 - 4 month sublet, June 1 - September 15 or Oct 1, 2018 This is a great furnished apartment just one block away from the hip shopping streets of 23rd and 21st Streets in NW Portland, within walking distance (about 15 minutes) to downtown. It is in a classic, well-kept 100 year old building, and has tall ceilings and hardwood floors. It is also a corner unit on the 1 1/2 floor - high enough about street level so you don't feel like people can see in, but close enough so that you feel like you are part of Portland street life. That is very pleasant, except when the garbage trucks come by in the morning. The apartment is about 1,000 square feet. It has a really nice large entryway, with black and white tiles. The living room is spacious, with three tall windows. The bedroom also has hardwood floors, and memory foam mattress and pillows. I purchased most of the furniture from Ikea with a modern style (the leather couch is not from Ikea but is more upscale and very comfortable). There is a dramatic unique (I modified it myself) coffee table (see photo). You're more than welcome to come by and see it yourself - just let me know when you'd like to schedule a time to look at it. I am looking for a very reliable tenant, non-smoker(s), no pets, and relatively quiet - I need to be sure that the downstairs tenants are not disturbed. I'll be in Alaska till September 15 or October 1 Terms: First and last month in advance, plus $300 security deposit. (I have a little flexibility with the starting or ending dates, but probably not both.) Utilities are included. Internet and/or cable will be up to you.
