Hello! We are two ladies in our mid 30s and early 40s looking for a tidy, responsible and dog-friendly 3rd housemate to move into our house in the DU neighborhood in March or April. We prioritize maintaining a calm and tidy home, open communication, regular roommate gatherings, and shared house responsibilities, and we're looking for someone who values those same things. One of the roommates has a dog, and we are open to possibly one more dog who is calm and well-behaved. We welcome professionals, students, all genders and LGBTQ+ individuals. About the rooms: You'll have a choice between a bright upstairs room with a shared bathroom, or a cozy downstairs room with its own bathroom. Both rooms are 9'x11.' The upstairs room has a full-sized closet, and the downstairs room has wardrobes for clothes hanging and storage. Either room can come furnished OR unfurnished! About the house: The house has three bedrooms and a living room, dining room, basement den, and office/guest space. The place boasts a large, sunny, private back yard, and is just a few blocks from restaurants, shops, a brewery, a neighborhood coffee shop, Safeway, and Denver University. The house is in a quiet, tree-lined, and walkable neighborhood minutes from Harvard Gulch Park, Evans light rail station, and restaurants and shops along South Broadway. Hardwood floors and bright windows create a functional and beautiful vibe. Abundant street parking and an off-street parking spot mean that you and visitors would be able to park with ease. The house has central heating but uses AC window units for air conditioning during the warmer months. A well-functioning washer and dryer are located in the basement, as well as ample storage space. Space for gear and bikes is available in the garage. The finances: Rent: $900/mo Refundable security deposit (if renting for 5+ months): $900 Refundable pet deposit (if applicable): $250 Utilities: $75-150 per month per person Desired timing: Move in date: March or April Lease: open to 4-12 months About the housemates: Kelly is a part time nanny and part time retreat facilitator. Amanda works with the CO state government and works from home 3-4 days/week. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, doing creative hobbies like pottery and playing guitar, and gathering friends for fun and witchy activities. Bodie (Amanda's dog) is a 70-lb dog who loves to play fetch, go on long sniffy hikes, and play with his friends. No smoking. Pet deposit required if applicable.
