Working vintage upright piano in the living room. We (the owners) live in the upstairs unit with our 2 year-old daughter. You'll have shared access to the sunny front-yard veggie garden and backyard, including play structure, patio, firepit, more garden boxes, fruit trees, and a grapevine. Storage is limited to a 150 sq ft basement. We are walking distance to so many things that make Alameda great -- two blocks from Park St, with its coffee shops, restaurants, and wine bars, two blocks from a park (McKinley), two blocks from the Main Library, and if you have young kids, there are two preschools on our block. Easy to bike over the Park St bridge and along Embarcadero to downtown Oakland, or over the Fruitvale bridge to Fruitvale and its BART station. We are also on one of Alameda's designated Slow Streets, so vehicle traffic is fairly light and there is plenty of foot/bike/skateboard/rollerblade traffic. Viewings by appointment only. Pets welcome, with $100/month increase in rent for pets with claws that walk on the floor.
