This house was our first home purchase, and we could not be more pleased. The first thing we loved about this home was it's location; this neighborhood is very quiet, and many of the surrounding residents are family to one another, very nice people. We purchased this home before having children, but now we have a little boy, and it is a very safe place for him to play outside. As for the home itself, we were very impressed with the condition inside and out. The previous owner was an elderly widow, so the house was just in need of aesthetic improvements, but the structures are very solid. We have since updated many things within the home. Throughout the house, we replaced all the old light fixtures and fans, door hardware, cabinet hardware, and scraped the popcorn ceilings and finished them. All the flooring has been replaced (except for tile in bathrooms/kitchen/utility room) with single-planked laminate flooring, and with new carpet in the bedrooms. All appliances have been replaced with new stainless steel units. Shelving in closets and utility room have been replaced with new units. All blinds have been replaced with new units. Attic access has been added above carport, along with plywood flooring in attic for storage. The entire sub-floor has been insulated from underneath for added energy efficiency. We have also added an 8 x 10 storage building behind the home with built in ramp for easy power equipment access. All in all, we love this home, and love this neighborhood!
