This house is TOO small for more (a couple and a young child could work well). This is really a house for a single person or a couple. Lovingly restored, turn-of-the-century home for rent in Old Town, Longmont. Blocks from Main St. Fully landscaped yard; huge, fenced backyard. Underground sprinklers throughout. New roof. Hardwood floors. Very quiet neighborhood, lovely neighbors. (NO PETS, sorry! I know your dog is a perfect gentleman but this house is still no-pets.) This is a charming old house we have worked hard to maintain. Front yard contains a champion Ash tree that shades the house in the summer. We'll be looking for a mindful, quiet renter who will live lightly in this home, and benefit from the amazing group of neighbors on all sides. We maintain the large garden and have never used any pesticides on the yard (even natural ones)--all yard work has been done by hand for 20 years. No smoking anywhere on the property. This house has no A/C except a window unit in the living room. The large tree in front shades the roof in summer and the house is the original plaster exterior so it stays nice and cool. Still if you're looking for a comfort-controlled 65-degree house in summer this wouldn't be for you. There is no garage. There is a large root cellar that is great for storing stuff but there aren't any exterior buildings to hold a lot of gear, etc. Property is unfurnished. Owner pays for Nextlight fiber optic internet + will maintain garden with a monthly weeding/maintenance person. Renter pays for water and gas/electric. Utilities average $250/month. Renter responsible for mowing lawn and shoveling sidewalk when it snows. No smoking anywhere on the property. No pets. 1-month deposit. One year lease. This property may not be sub-leased or AirBNB/VRBO'd for any length of time.
