Although substantially more expense initially as compared to standard HVAC systems, the operating cost is efficient and ecologically friendlier. 90 gallon water heater was also installed along with blown insulation in the exterior walls and batt insulation beneath the floors. Interior of the home has recently been repainted and the exterior has also been recently stripped and fully repainted by the current owners. Home has been featured in several publications and is remembered by all who have travelled through this section of the MS Delta as they pass the oak lined ¼ mile private drive from MS HWY 149.
