This home is one of two rentals on the property (there is a 1924 craftsman on the corner) and was designed and built in 2021. Hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings on the upper level; high-end, designer fixtures throughout; on-demand hot water; energy recovery ventilation system; incredible views of Mt. Tabor from the quaint balcony. The home was designed to be either a two-bedroom home for a new family or a fantastic one-bedroom with spacious office for the live/work trend many are gravitating towards. The landscape around the property was meticulously chosen to be Oregon natives plants, wood burning fire pit and the raised beds are ready for the spring gardener. Clean, modern designs met with local Doug Fir wood accents makes the home look and feel warm, welcoming and cheerful. At present, the home is unfurnished. Length of lease can be negotiated, but would prefer year long. The duration of the lease is less as important as finding the right tenant. So if you're new to Portland and looking for the short-term rental or perhaps something longer then we'd be willing to work with you on the details. There is no management company and the home owner is a general contractor, living in the neighborhood so he's always available to help when needed. Owner pays all utilities (high-speed internet, gas, water, electric, waste/recycling) so basically the rent is "all-inclusive." We have a small dog so understand what its like trying to rent with pets. All we ask is you treat the home as if it was your own. Smoking is allowed on the premise but absolutely not inside at all (no vaping, tobacco, pot, etc.)...there's a beautiful balcony upstairs and a covered entryway. And as far as specific needs a tenant might have (i.e. perhaps a closet or shelving in the second bedroom/office) I'd be happy to build whatever was needed within reason.
