1959 Brick Rancher. Great bones. Best feature is the near constant inside temperature as a result of an awesome whole house fan, attic fan and extra insulation everywhere; especially the foam installed under the entire floor. Everything that needed updating has been updated. We have enjoyed his home for 15 years. We recently bought another house, close by with acerage, on a whim. We're still living here and still loving it. Huge 70' trees in the front and back yards. No lawn!, entire yard xeriscaped when we were told that our water rates would triple 15 years ago. The soaking tub is unique, designed by Pininfarina, the Turin-based design house founded in 1930, first did coachbuilding work for Ferrari in 1951 and continued to work with the automaker well into the 21st century, for Jacuzzi. Currently one for sale in Texas for $18,000. There were only 10 manufactured. A true collector's item. "Bird Hill" as our neighborhood is called, was an Audobon bird sanctuary prior to development in 1959. Our street is only 2 blocks long, so there is no through traffic. Good for children. In fact, several families with children have moved in over the past few years.
