I received a $10000 grant for being in the tornado area. 2013 was installed new electrical hookup with a new water heater, central ac and heating unit. The siding is made of stone. In my opinion its the strongest built house in Joplin. The foundation is amazing. Electrical and water all work. Nice solid wooden floors. Basement does have an extra room. It has with electric and a basic shower. When I bought the house in 2010, the roof shingles looked fairly new. When the tornado hit, I wanted to protect my roof since some of the shingles blew off. I had some brand new off colored shingles so I had them installed. I've never had a problem with rain on my roof. I've been wanting to install new shingles but since I haven't had water problems I haven't got that far. If you buy your own shingles the cost to install them will run you $1000. If your fine with the off color shingles, then the roof should last you many years to come.
