This is a duplex with a shared backyard. The apartment is on the top level and is accessed with a set 3 of steps to the front porch in the front and has a flight of deck steps off the kitchen. There are two bedrooms, approximately 10'x12', each with a closet. There is one bathroom in a hallway between the bedrooms. There is a small window-filled room facing the backyard that connects one of the bedrooms to the kitchen. We use this as an office. It does not have a closet. There is a small wash closet that has a new full size front loading washer and dryer and also a pantry rack. The kitchen is small but usable. it has new cabinets and a granite countertop and backsplash. The marble floor is new too. All of the windows have been replaced. it has a new heat pump. Now, the honesty. This is a 100+ year old house with plaster walls. Most of them are ugly and have been patched many times. The paint on all the trim has been chipping and probably been painted 75 different times. I would like to strip this down to the wood but I haven't had time yet. The wood floors have an old ugly stain on them but are soft under your feet. It's not a beautiful historic old house, but an old comfy light filled one. And there isn't a dishwasher. The bathroom is very small and the walls are bad, but it's clean and works perfectly and has great water pressure. The good news. There is a fenced in back yard. I'm replacing the deck on the front before anyone moves in and it will be screened in as well. This is a major plus. All of the electrical has been updated and though there's not a lot of outlets, everything is very safe. Also, the plumbing has been completely redone. The other renters are terrific. And I'm a good landlord that fixes issues quickly. 6 month minimum. Utilities are extra, but we will cover the water.
