Female Only: We have a private bedroom/shared bathroom available for rent for in a spacious 3 bedroom/2 bathroom Santa Monica apartment. Move-in date is flexible and can be between October 1st to November 1st. We are two females in our early 30s. One of us occupies the master bedroom that has its own private bathroom, and the other occupies one of the remaining two bedrooms that shares a bathroom; you would be taking the third bedroom that shares the bathroom. The monthly rent is $820, but this does not include electricity or WiFi, which usually ranges from $25-40 a month per person. There is a $400 security deposit. The building takes care of trash and water (there is no gas), and there is onsite laundry and easy street parking that does not require a permit (but you do need to be wary of street sweeping days). Per building management, no smoking and no pets. The room will be unfurnished, but the common areas (dining area and living room) are furnished. However, we are open to adding/switching out furniture in the common areas! The culture at our place is relaxed, friendly, and generally quiet. We like to have occasional chats and catch-ups in the common areas when we have time, but we also allow each other space to do our own thing. We both have full-time jobs, with one of us working a hybrid schedule. Someone who is considerate, kind, and communicative would fit in well here! The neighborhood is quiet and near a number of restaurants and cafes. There is a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's nearby as well for easy grocery shopping.
