I'm looking for a roommate to rent the lower level, private bed and bath, in my Girard Estates house (3 BR, 2 Bath brownstone). I am a female in my early 30s and work for an education nonprofit here in the city. I travel fairly frequently for work so you would have plenty of space. The room for rent is a finished basement apartment on the lower level with a private bedroom, large closet, and a full bathroom. Small window in front and recessed light throughout. The lower level would be all yours except one area that is shared laundry. There is plenty of room to spread out on the main floor with a large back patio, large living room and kitchen. I like to entertain but wouldn't be hosting lots of late night parties. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grill all available for shared use. Upper floor has the other two bedrooms and bathroom, which is not a shared area. The street is very quiet, but just a block from West Passyunk with all sorts of restaurants, an excellent brewery, and only a short walk across Broad Street to East Passyunk. Its a great block-- clean, safe, with friendly neighbors. Transportation: The subway is about a 10 minute walk. A short bike ride or drive to University City, Navy Yard or Center City. (20 min bike ride to UPenn, Drexel, HUP, CHOP, Navy Yard). 17 bus to Center City stops around the corner. Two blocks from 76 if you drive and commute out of the city. Free, no-permit street parking outside the house. Grocery and other shopping 3-4 blocks away on Oregon Ave. I have two adorable and very friendly cats who will also be living in the house-- brother and sister, about a year old. Rent is $850 which includes all utilities (internet, gas, water, electric). Room available June 1, 2018. Room can be furnished with double bed and dresser or non furnished. All utilities included
