It is predominately a middle class town.It is up and coming with many developments underway to attract NYC commuters who want more space yet commutable to the big apple. Rahway is very easy commute to NYC with a direct line (40 minutes into midtown). High end rentals near train station start somewhere in the 1900 for a one bedroom. New condos are being built and new downtown plans are on the horizon with many familiar shops (i.e. GAP). lot's of restaurants in the downtown area and plenty of recreational facility's also high rise condo's and suites in the process of finishing this spring with indoor swimming and health facilities to the public also rahway currently has a center for the performing arts and there is lot's and lot's of exciting things to do in rahway to keep the whole family busy come join us.
