Built in 1957 by contractor Larry Jusela, this Sunmor "Estate" size home clearly had bold plans for the developing tract. Sunmor's first homes were built by Robert Higgins in 1956 with the Alexander Company following in 1958. It is rumored Higgins was building too much home for the time, selling for $17,500. Alexander's vision sold for $15,000. Yet sandwiched between the two famed builders was a general contractor, Larry Jusela (one of a handful of builders listed in the 1957 yellow pages - picture 10) building a 2,000 square foot+ home costing $24,000. What!? The home retains the bold "Estate" vision that originally conceived its' construction. A complete remodel brought 234 Airlane into the 21st century, keeping its' foundation firmly planted in Sunmor's historic history...
