Yes this apartment is very unique and why not live well if you are living through a pandemic . A generous owner is even reducing the rent so if you want it just belly up to the bar and be serious . The beautiful period detail ,scale and high ceilings will immediately catch your eyes and so will the reddish mahogany trim that adorns these giant windows. I should not forget the " parquet oak floors either. You have discovered a real gem to make home for a long time . The park and subway are at your doorstep as is a farmers market on Sundays . I go there myself, its a treat. ! No disappointments if you like to spend time in the kitchen.....this CHEFS KITCHEN is outstanding ! It has 2 entrances and tons of counterspace and storage .The big lofty living space will also make your heart jump for joy especially if you have missed having a great space to entertain or just have lots of things you will not part with like books and a big dining table. The rental has a lovely wooden staircase that's friendly and has its own charm and of course separates the 2 floors for some additional privacy .You'll find two bedrooms at the top of this staircase, a second bathroom and some additional storage space. The washer/dryer is upstairs and the apartment has all the typical kitchen gadgets like dishwasher and microwave. This is a very good landlord who replaces stuff if necessary . If you are going to be paying most of the rental commission be sure to get a terrific landlord. Heat and hot water comes on your national grid gas bill and that's in addition to the rent. Go on STREETEASY for additional images and be sure to look around to see what this kind of space would fetch in a building .Owner may consider a 2 year lease if your references are outstanding . The current tenants will have nothing but good things to say about the apt, building and location .The move out is with much regret. Pets: One good pet on a case by case basis and that includes your beloved trained dog. Your city commute will be quick if you commute but if you are working from home there is plenty of space to create a home office and not feel crammed. Please only call us understanding that this is NOT a no fee rental. It is a reduced commission however . December 1 or December 15 are good start dates.
