This is by far one of the most awesome apartments I have to offer. When I heard the tenants were moving, my first thought was taking this one for myself. (Not possible, sadly!) It's on the top floor and at the SouthWest corner of the building. It's well back from the bustle of Burnside and looks right out onto the park across the street. It also has a curved wall at the corner, making it a very unique space!The tall trees and hillside keep this apartment well shaded in the late afternoon, so you'll be surprisingly cool in the summer. And in the winter, your apartment will always be warm every time you come home...your utilities fee includes HEAT! We'll keep you nice and toasty and comfy and cozy!The kitchen is it's own separate room and was fairly recently remodeled with a new tile floor, cabinets, counters, appliances, the works! The living room features hardwood floors and two large closets. Extra storage is available for those who need it.The bathroom is a nice, moderate size and has a full-sized tub and shower - and you'll NEVER run out of hot water!Also, there are big, modern, double-pane vinyl windows with screens to help keep the bugs, extreme temps and noise outside and allow lots of natural light inside.The bedroom is small, yet big enough for a queen bed and a desk, table & chairs or armoire. The bedroom is where the bulk of the curved wall is - making it VERY unique! (FYI, there is no door leading into the bedroom.)Our building is secure and well maintained. And you CANNOT BEAT our location!!Conveniences like Starbucks, Zupan's grocery store, Tri-Met bus service, postal services, a pharmacy, an urgent-care clinic, a dry cleaner/tailor and more are RIGHT NEXT DOOR! Yet we are right on the edge of Washington Park.In minutes, you can walk up to the Rose Gardens, the Japanese Gardens or the Zoo Train. There are also tennis courts up there and of course...Forest Park. One of the country's largest urban forest reserves. . .a 5,000 acre wonderland with nearly 70 miles of trails! Not to mention we are right at the edge of a shopaholic's paradise! AND within walking distance of countless restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife hotspots! The very best in shopping, dining, nightlife and outdoor recreation that Portland has to offer is all right here at your footsteps!Come home to the Uptown Apartments in Portland's Northwest District and see what Portland living is really all about!!
