its a great little mountain home. its near the road for easy winter access, it has stunning views of Deer mountain directly across the street. I've live here for 20+ years and I still love it. I am moving to a different state to be with my Family. I love the mountain life but my family comes first which is the only reason I am selling at all. This place has A LOT of sentimental value, my child grew up here her whole life, I met my wife here. I love the 5 acre 4-wheel park that is my backyard(good for trucks and 4_wheeler's and dirt bikes) the garage has plenty of space for 2 cars with extra room to work and a wood burning stove in the garage and the house is also heated by propane and a wood burning stove with a gas range top stove. the house also comes with a v-twin generator to power the entire house that runs on gasoline and propane, making sure you'll always have electricity even during a blizzard outage, it also comes with a detached well house that's about 300sqf with a well. the sewage is not a worry because the property comes with a duel septic tank and leech field so the tanks only have to be emptied every 10 years or so. there's already a 500 gallon propane tank on the property. The house is well kept and its near Canon city Colorado which is very up and coming and this area is less densely populated, so you can take a short drive to Canon city or Salida Colorado which is also near by and the property is also a very short drive to Westcliffe/Silvercliffe,co and there are lakes and the Arkansas river all within 20 mins in any direction and its about a 45 min drive to Mt Princeton and Cottonwood hot springs and there are many other springs thought the area. The house will come semi-furnished and the property will sell as is. It comes with a hot tub and everything besides furniture and China and cutlery will be included, there is some very nice wood carvings all over the property and it has many trees and a picnic/camping area complete with 3 fire pits on the property. the inside is fairly modern but I'm also no interior designer so some people may wish to change things but I personally love the paint and the art that is blended in with the whole house like my personal bedroom which has Extremely beautiful wall art and other art thought and its appointed with hanging lanterns that will burn any type of candle/oil lamps you prefer.the house will also come with 2 cords of wood to get thru the first winter and we will introduce whom ever wants to be to my wood guy, hes the best and cheapest in the area and he does deliveries for free and has good reasonably priced hard and soft wood and we have a personal friendship that will surely extend to the buyers of this house.
