Beautiful building, built in the early 1900's was when Lizzie Nicholson purchased the land from the Klein family in 1891. The Marine hospital built in 1853 was demolished in 1892. The Nicholson bought brick and other building materials savaged from the hospital using prison labor built this combination home and grocery store.
