Shared Marigny apartment with your own private bedroom and private bathroom: I am looking for a roommate for one half of an awesome apartment which was originally a shotgun but is renovated to have private rooms. A great location in the Marigny, across from the St. Roch Market, close to so much, awesome landlady. We would split $1390 plus utilities (a special lowered price in exchange for helping out with some things, like watering the outdoor plants). 1-2 cats are fine (I have two) but no dogs. The rooms are small but have two indoor windows each and the ceilings are tall. I'm clean and don't have tons of stuff besides art. I'm vegetarian and, while you don't need to be, I would love to have a vegan or vegetarian roommate. One year lease, Oct 1, 2025 to Aug 31, 2026, or you can choose a 3-month lease if you don't want to commit and extend it in January if you want to stay. (Needs to be signed in advance to secure the apartment.) There will be a credit check. My current roommate says he will move out on Sep 23, so you would have a free week to move in slowly if you sign the lease by Sep 23. I'm pretty chill, try to keep quiet; I often stay up all night and paint. I read a lot and play piano. 420 friendly, just not indoors. He is also leaving his bed and desk, I believe, so if you want a furnished room, you can have those. (If not, we will remove them.). Last month's rent and deposit are required upon lease signing to secure the room; after that, rent is due on the first of each month. (October rent is due on October 1st.). The last month's (advanced) rent will be used to pay your last month-- so, if you choose a full lease, you will not pay for August 2026; if you choose a 3-month lease, you will not pay for December 2025. Deposit will be returned in full after the final walk-through if the space is clean and undamaged. 1/2 of all utilies.
